About Us

We are the security association for those involved in any and every facet of the media supply chain, that create or handle content in any way, across all of Media & Entertainment.

Founded in 1970, Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) members include most of the major content producers, as well as many of the partners across the media lifecycle and ecosystem. We
also include those that are responsible for cyber/info-sec, and other security roles. We are a community of “operators and do-ers”, and try to stay clear of the Policy and Legal aspects of security.

One key differentiator between us and other associations is our strong focus on our “community”, and connecting all of us across the industry. We always say we are more friends than colleagues, and find that members stay members…even if they change companies.

We have four primary value elements:

  • Working Groups: Members form an effort around specific security issues, typically held virtually;
  • Events: We hold several in-person events each year. Our next event is our Content Protection Summit at NAB (CPS@NAB) in Las Vegas and our tent-pole event is CPS in Los Angeles held in early  December;
  • Our ME-ISAC: where we can come together for critical matters of Threats and Incident Response, with cross-industry links to other ISAC’s and government agencies; and
  • Communications: Our Wednesday weekly newsletter covers topical events that members can leverage to distribute information to the community/industry  (Content Protection, Cybersecurity, & Fraud) and through our partnership with MESA we offer members redistribution through their  M+E Daily/M+E Europe newsletters

  • Large, Multi-brand Conglomerates (all brands included): $30,000 Annual

As an added Bonus, Membership in CDSA includes complimentary membership in MESA, allowing attendance at MESA Events (including HITS and Smart Content) and leverage of the
