It’s particularly grim in our industry, with women in security comprising only 11 percent of the workforce, and even fewer in technical roles. With an estimated 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs by 2021, according to Cybersecurity Ventures, we can’t afford to let this trend continue. IBM Security is working to close both the skills and gender gaps through two outreach programs: IBM Cyber Day 4 Girls and IBM Cyber Day for Collegiate Women.
