Important Security Updates

Adobe Acrobat and Reader DC: Adobe has released Reader version 2018.011.20035. Updates are also available for Adobe Acrobat, and Experience manager. Updates are available from Adobe’s website.

Avast: Avast has released version 18.1.2326 for Free Antivirus. Updates are available on Avast’s website.

AVG Antivirus: AVG has released version 18.1.3044 of its free antivirus. Updates are available on AVG’s website. AVG also released updates for its Free Antivirus, Premier Antivirus and Pro Antivirus.

Avira Antivirus: Avira has released version 15.0.34.23 of its free Antivirus. Updates are available from Avira’s website.

Google Chrome: Google has released Google Chrome version 64.0.3282.167. Updates are available from within the browser or from Google Chrome’s website.

Evernote: Evernote has released version 6.9.7.6770. Updates are available on Evernote’s website.

LastPass for Windows: LastPass has released version 4.7.0 for its Free Password Manager. Updates are available from LastPass’ website.

Lenovo Think Pad: Lenovo has released patches for two critical vulnerabilities that were found last year in certain Broadcom Wi-Fi controllers. See Lenovo for more information and updates.

Microsoft Patch Tuesday: Microsoft’s Patch Tuesday released updates to address dozens of vulnerabilities, some of which are highly critical within Windows operating systems, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Office, ChakraCore, Adobe Flash, and other Microsoft products. Opera: Opera has released version 51.0.2830.34. Updates are available from within the browser or from Opera’s website.

Piriform CCleaner: Piriform has released version 5.40.6411for CCleaner. Updates are available from Piriform’s website.

Spotify: Spotify has released version 1.0.74.380. Updates are available on Spotify’s website.

Viber: Viber has released version 8.2.0.8 for Windows. Updates are available on Viber’s website.

VLC Media Player: VLC has released version 3.0.0 (32-bit and 64-bit) of its Media Player. Download from the VLC website.
