Irdeto, a leader in digital platform security, has announced the launch of its Hosted CA solution in Russia at CSTB 2018. Irdeto Cloaked CA (cardless CA) is already trusted by Hollywood studios and sports rights holders and is used by over 30 operators worldwide. The newly launched Irdeto Hosted CA offers a version of this premium security solution to allow operators to get high-demand content and have a wide range of device options to offer attractive services at competitive prices. In addition, operators will have the best local support and access to global resources to grow their business.
Irdeto Hosted CA, which may be of particular interest to small and mid-sized cable operators, provides a “pay-as-you-grow” model with no upfront capital investment required and a one-time activation fee per device. This gives operators access to security which is trusted by content owners for basic to premium 4K content and is renewable over the air, despite any budget and expertise constraints.
