One of the basic tenants of a security function for any media and entertainment organization is vulnerability management, figuring out your risk exposure.
But what may sound simple on paper can be a daunting task in 2019, considering the increasing frequency of data breaches, and the way you approached vulnerability management in the past may not cut it with today’s technology stack and development methodologies.
That’s the message Rahim Jina, COO and co-founder of vulnerability management solutions firm edgescan will bring to attendees of the HITS Fall https://www.mesalliance.org/conferences/hits-fall-2019 event Oct. 3 in Los Angeles, in the breakout session “Vulnerability Landscape 2019 – Hocus Pocus Refocus.”

Using real-life vulnerability data, Jina will look at some of the common themes that persist today, and share some vulnerability management actions you can take. By refocusing on more rudimentary elements, your cyber team could see marked improvements in your company’s overall security posture.
