Blockchain May Be Good for Security. But Not So Good for Privacy.

Blockchain technologies are becoming increasingly popular as mechanisms to track transactions between parties. The advantage of this technology over its predecessors is its ability to empower the trust relationship between the parties, even if they should wish to be anonymous. Trust is a foundational feature of the blockchain as the data written into it is immutable, and can never be changed, modified or removed without destroying the integrity of the whole blockchain.
