Companies are using artificial intelligence to detect malware, verify users and improve cybersecurity in a number of ways. But they also must prepare for hackers who use AI as a weapon, cybersecurity researchers warn. Cyberattacks that make use of AI and machine learning are relatively rare, but over the last year several researchers have demonstrated a number of ways that hackers could use these tools to disguise and speed up attacks, perhaps making them more damaging.
