MESA Members Invited to Dinner With Author, Ex-FBI Rocco at Mob Museum April 16

Nearly 50 MESA members will be exhibiting in Las Vegas April 15-19 for the annual NAB Show in Las Vegas, with many more attending.

And whether exhibiting or just exploring the show floor, all MESA members are invited to a private “stand up” dinner April 16 at The Mob Museum with Giovanni Rocco, former FBI undercover agent and author of “Giovanni’s Ring: My Life Inside The Real Sopranos.”

Rocco will be the keynote speaker at the April 17 Content Protection Summit at NAB (CPS@NAB) being held at the SAHARA Theater in Las Vegas.

Rocco’s presentation — “Driving Team Performance in Incident Response” — will bring a realistic outlook and insightful understanding to what first responders are experiencing in today’s work environment and the solution-focused steps needed to resolve the inner conflicts prohibiting those front-line guardians in attaining maximum personal performance.

Rocco spent years inside an exclusive “old boys” network, where to be accepted and included in the community was literally a matter of life or death.

As an undercover law enforcement officer who spent most of his 26-year career as a member of state and as part of a federal task force targeting organized crime, the culminating role of his service was the successful infiltration of one of America’s most violent and long-standing Mafia families, the New Jersey DeCavalcante family.

At the conclusion of this landmark investigation, Rocco retired from law enforcement and moved his family to a location that remains undisclosed.

The insight and strategies he brings to this keynote presentation were acquired over decades of exemplary service with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

At the dinner, Rocco will sign copies of his book.
