More reliance on the cloud, more real-time collaboration, more tools to choose from than ever before. It’s a wonderful time for content creation.

But along with the increasingly complex and integrated technologies and infrastructures in media and entertainment comes a host of new security and content protection challenges.

At the April 17 Content Protection Summit at NAB (CPS@NAB), being held at the SAHARA Theater in Las Vegas, a panel of experts will discuss how well we’re doing in “securely managing” this complexity, in the panel “Platform Approaches to Complexity + Convergence.”

This forward-thinking conversation will give the industry and audience insights on how aspects of content security and information security are increasingly converged, and how SaaS and on-prem managed-services solutions are having to integrate.

These industry leaders will share their approach to customers, as well as with their product team internally, on how they can be effective in today’s environment.

Moderated by Richard Atkinson, president and chairman emeritus of the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA), the panel will feature Jonathan Nguyen-Duy, VP and global field CISO for Fortinet, Sebastien Braun, head of video streaming business and product management for Verimatrix, and Ian Hamilton, CTO for Signiant.

Since 2018, the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) has gathered the security community in Las Vegas during NAB for the Content Protection Summit. The afternoon of keynotes, panels and industry insights will examine the entire entertainment supply chain. The event will be both in-person and online in the MESAVerse, MESA’s virtual work environment for its members and communities.
