Andagan, Bahmanpour, Chang, Martin Join WiTH Board

Women in Technology Hollywood introduced four new industry leaders to its board Nov. 4 during the SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit in Los Angeles.

The new board members are Shelley Andagan, director of game studio partnerships and executive producer for Qualcomm; Filiz Bahmanpour, VP of product and studio solutions for Nielsen’s Gracenote; Annie Chang, VP of creative technologies for Universal Pictures and NBCUniversal; and Dawn Martin, senior product manager for Riot Games.

Andagan, a member of the Producers Guild of America, has spent more than a decade in the film and TV industry, working on Marvel’s “The Runaways,” Disney’s Jungle Book, New Line’s San Andreas, HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and Fox’s Independence Day: Resurgence. She’s been an executive producer for multiple virtual reality projects with VR Playhouse and has worked for Activision and 3DPaint/FX.

As VP of product and studio solutions for Nielsen’s Gracenote, Bahmanpour handles product Leadership for video and content analytics products and business development, including market analysis, business case, deal management and execution. She oversees the Gracenote Studio Solutions suite of products that address the needs of modern content studios. Bahmanpour was previously the VP of digital experience and platform for Universal Orlando Resort, and spent more than a dozen years in various roles with NBCUniversal.

Chang is responsible for designing next-generation workflows across film and helping to develop emerging immersive media experiences. Prior to joining Universal in early 2018, Chang was in technology roles for Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios, where she oversaw technology solutions for movie productions in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chang has served as the AMPAS ACES Project Chair and co-chair of the AMPAS SciTech Council, and as chair of the Interoperable Master Format (IMF) Working Group at the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).

Martin is the senior product manager for game developer and eSports tournament producer Riot Games. Previously she spent more than eight years in business relationship management with Sony Pictures Entertainment, implementing and managing multiple SaaS applications, working with business groups to analyze and automate processes, and was product owner for three in-house created applications.

The SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit was presented by Softtek, PacketFabric, Amazon Web Services, Cognizant, Deluxe, Expert.AI, FilmTrack, Google, KeyInfo, Los Angeles Duplication and Broadcasting, Method, and Premiere Digital. The event is produced by MESA in association with the Hollywood IT Society and Women in Technology Hollywood.
