Riscure Covers PlayReady SL3000 Security Assessments

Security services firm Riscure has produced a new educational video, discussing Microsoft PlayReady SL 3000 requirements and the advantages of third-party assessments over self-evolution with respect to liability.

“We illustrate the process a security laboratory goes through to assess the security robustness and we take two case studies to illustrate the difference between security robustness and presence of security functions,” a Riscure spokesman told MESA. “We conclude the topic by giving several advices with respect to secure development process for vendors as well as how to most efficiently involve the knowledge of secure experts.”
