CISA Chief of Staff to Keynote Content Protection Summit in Vegas

Kiersten E. Todt, chief of staff of the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), has been announced as the keynote speaker of the April 23 Anti-Piracy and Content Protection Summit in Las Vegas, and will be interviewed by Roger Cressy, counter-terrorism analyst and former presidential advisor.

Todt’s keynote — “Collaborating on the Culture of Security” — will be a must-hear for attendees of the event, with Hollywood and the broadcast communities presented a unique opportunity to collaborate more effectively to help secure our country’s (and the world’s) future, coming out of the pandemic. The CISA leads the effort to enhance the security, resiliency, and reliability of our nation’s cybersecurity and communications infrastructure, and how CISA is changing and improving culture at the federal level and how that impacts the state, regional and local agencies and their engagement at an industry level will be discussed.

Where does broadcast news and media play in the critical infrastructure conversation? How does that culture impact the general public not only here in the U.S. but throughout the world? How does CISA discover and address the current threat vectors we face, encourage operational collaboration within industries, and what can our industry do to help? And is there a bigger role we can play as content creators to educate and collaborate more effectively on cybersecurity as we transact business through the interconnected, global digital supply chain? Join Todt and the industry’s top anti-piracy and cybersecurity experts for this opening session at the summit to learn more about how and where we can assist.
