MESA Sponsors Feb. 9 Super Bowl Celebrity Golf Tourney
MESA is sponsoring the Feb. 9 Super Bowl LVI Celebrity Golf Tournament, to be held at the Brookside Golf Club next to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, with proceeds going to help the education needs of children in underprivileged areas.
Presented by United Champions for Change, a nonprofit founded in 2020 by former Seattle Seahawks player and Super Bowl champion Walter Thurmond III, and Southern California at-risk youth foundation Shelter 37, the event will feature numerous NFL legends as those who sign up fundraise for the education and life skills programs the two offer.
“MESA is proud to support United Champions for Change, and we look forward to participating next week and, of course, watching the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium on Sunday,” said MESA president Guy Finley. “Go Rams!”
For $1,200, players get a round of golf, use of a cart and practice facilities, lunch and dinner. It’s $300 for a single player. Tee offs begin at 11 a.m. To sign up to play, click here.
