CDSA’s Content Protection Summit Returns to L.A. Dec. 16

The Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) has announced the Content Protection Summit — the premiere gathering of the top security and asset protection minds in the M&E industry — will return Dec. 16 as a hybrid virtual and in-person event, presented by IBM Security.

Industry stakeholders will once again be able to mingle with counterparts, demo the latest offerings from top Hollywood vendors, and watch presentations in-person at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, while remote attendees worldwide won’t miss a single presentation by using MESA’s recently introduced metaverse environment, the MESAverse, an interactive 3D-world that allows for hybrid live and virtual events.

Keynotes, panel discussions, and technology showcases are all designed to offer senior-level content and information security experts the key information around the latest in content protection across the entire supply chain for entertainment. Production security, post-production workflows and the growing ecosystems of platforms and connectivity that are driving the secure content creation and distribution process. Additionally, anti-piracy and IP protection will be covered as our industry works collaboratively to secure our most important assets.

Conversations will also include updated details of the CDSA’s international Security Assessment Program, our M&E Information Sharing & Analysis Center (ME-ISAC), and the impact of CDSA’s Control Framework across numerous workflows.

Along with a wide range of breakout sessions hosted by top industry vendors, thought leaders will discuss the best tools to secure the entire range of M&E assets and detail the latest on remote working M&E security, protecting against insider threats, and creating a holistic ecosystem of assessments, alerts and community to constantly improve our efforts to secure an industry.

Produced by MESA and presented by IBM Security, the Content Protection Summit is sponsored by Convergent Risks, Richey May Technology Solutions, PacketFabric, Synamedia, BuyDRM, Code42, INTRUSION, StoneTurn and Vision Media.
