WiTH May 21 Webinar Tackles ‘Hacking into InfoSec Careers’

On May 21, Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH) will host the webinar “Hacking into InfoSec Careers,” bringing a trio of experts together for a thought-provoking conversation around cybersecurity, the fastest-growing and today’s most in-demand tech sector.

Cybersecurity is critical in safeguarding employees, clients, intellectual property, and proprietary developments, however finding mentorships or career paths to follow can be challenging because of the nature of protecting access to sensitive data at all times.

In the webinar, Renee Ismail, VP of commercial banking identity and access management lead with JPMorgan Chase & Co.; Nada Noaman, VP of CSO governance, risk, compliance, and outreach WM Cybersecurity Office (CSO); and Shira Harrison, VP of information technology at Amblin Partners, will highlight recent trends in information security and showcase how to create job opportunities in the field. Attendees will get their viewpoints on starting a career in a field where only one in four job positions are filled by qualified candidates.

Other topics on the agenda:

• What are the leading trends in information security and the scariest hacks?
• What roles are most critical to you in your security practice?
• What innovative ways there are to map out a career in cybersecurity?
• How others have established themselves in this field and how you can do it too?
