Richey May Technology Talks Reopening Trends May 12 at HITS Spring

After a year like no other, Hollywood is slowing getting back up to speed, ramping up the business of developing content for the world. But what trends and considerations should media and entertainment companies keep in mind as offices reopen and productions come back in full force?

At the May 12 Hollywood Innovation and Transformation Summit (HITS) Spring event, JT Gaietto, executive director of cybersecurity advisory for Richey May Technology Solutions, will take the stage to cover everything from cybersecurity concerns to automation, and how they apply to reopening plans.

“Business is booming for some, while it hasn’t fared as well for others. If you’re here, you’re here because you help your clients as best you can,” said Gaietto, who’ll be joined by Olivier Jorda, global senior director of M&E strategy for Oracle. “Cybersecurity is on everyone’s mind. But value is critical to everything you are spending money on.

“People want to get back to in person but no one wants to be the first company to jump,” he added. “We’ll look at some of the steps we see companies taking to improve this. And automation is becoming a critical part of everything. What are some of the “smart” processes companies are looking at because of the pandemic?”

HITS Spring is programmed under the guidance of the content advisors of the Hollywood IT Society, and is produced by MESA and the Hollywood IT Society (HITS), in association with the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) and the Smart Content Council. The event is presented by IBM Security with sponsorship by Genpact, Irdeto, Convergent Risks, Equinix, MicroStrategy, Microsoft Azure, Richey May Technology Solutions, Tamr, Whip Media, Eluvio, 5th Kind, LucidLink, Signiant, Zendesk, EIDR and the Trusted Partner Network.
