Zixi to Share Secure Remote Broadcast Insights at Dec. 8 Content Protection Summit

If you’re in the market for solutions to ensure secure broadcast-quality contribution and distribution from remote locations, video software provider Zixi will be front and center Dec. 8 during the virtual Content Protection Summit, with its Software-Defined Video Platform (SDVP).

During the breakout session “Securely Scaling Remote Broadcast-Quality Video Production,” Eric Bolten, VP of business development for Zixi, will share how SDVP enables broadcast-quality delivery across any IP network, any protocol, any cloud provider and any edge device, giving media companies the ability to seamlessly and securely shift from on-premise production and control rooms to remote virtualized broadcast operations, both securely and at scale.

“In this session, we’ll demonstrate the toolset that media and entertainment teams can leverage to scale secure remote production workflows over any IP network,” Bolten said. “With the SDVP and ZEN Master control plane, broadcasters can safely virtualize operations while maintaining collaboration between on-premise and remote teams, all while ensuring secure global delivery of linear broadcast-quality content to both traditional and digital delivery targets.”

The key to Zixi’s offering for attendees: allowing remote users the ability to maintain business continuity and securely orchestrate, manage and monitor broadcast quality, low latency live video workflows from anywhere in the world, he added.

Presented by Microsoft Azure, the event is sponsored by SHIFT, Genpact, Akamai, Convergent Risks, Friend MTS, GeoGuard, PacketFabric, Palo Alto Networks, Richey May Technology Solutions, Splunk, Zixi, Cyberhaven, EIDR and Xcapism Learning.

The Content Protection Summit is produced by MESA, CDSA, the Hollywood IT Society (HITS) and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH), under the direction of the CDSA Board of Directors and content advisors representing Amazon Studios, Adobe, Paramount, BBC Studios, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate, WarnerMedia, Amblin Entertainment, Legendary Pictures, and Lego Group.
