Mytonomy CEO, U.S. Tech Council Leader to Keynote Dec. 8 Content Protection Summit

The CEO of SaaS platform firm Mytonomy, and innovation speaker and chairman of the board of the U.S. Technology Leadership Council will bookend the main stage programming of the Dec. 8 virtual Content Protection Summit, with a pair of keynote addresses that will examine today’s security challenges in light of the pandemic.

First up during the 10 a.m.-2 p.m. PT event, Anjali Kataria, CEO of software firm Mytonomy, will explore another vibrant business category from a content perspective, with Kataria sharing how healthcare is handling security and strident regulations today, and the parallels that can be found for the media and entertainment space.

Katali’s company empowers patients to actively care for their health, and she’ll share insights on why Mytonomy is referred to as the “OTT for Healthcare.”

The company is building virtual patient care relationships in a secure environment using micro-learning video content, and this keynote will show how they’re delivering that content in a highly regulated environment, and facilitating security requirements through their media studio.

For the closing keynote, Dr. Eric Haseltine, an innovation speaker and chairman of the board of the U.S. Technology Leadership Council, will take the stage with the keynote “An Update on the Human Dimension of Security,” a follow-up to his 2019 Content Protection Summit address, exploring the human dimension of security. In 2019, his presentation showed how no data system is perfect, and that human behavior presents the biggest security risk of them all.

His follow-up keynote will take the emergence of the global pandemic in account, and he’ll review the impact of the crisis and how dealing with insider threats make the human side of your organization more secure. As the former director of R&D at the NSA and associate director on national intelligence, his insights will cover the evolution of organizational behavior and blind spots in human perception of threats and risks, particularly in relation to the ongoing crisis.

Presented by Microsoft Azure, the event is sponsored by SHIFT, Akamai, GeoGuard, Richey May Technology Solutions, Zixi, EIDR and the Trusted Partner Network. The Content Protection Summit is produced by MESA, CDSA, the Hollywood IT Society (HITS) and Women in Technology Hollywood (WiTH), under the direction of the CDSA Board of Directors and content advisors representing Amazon Studios, Adobe, Paramount, BBC Studios, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate, WarnerMedia, Amblin Entertainment, Legendary Pictures, and Lego Group.
