IBC 2018: Convergent Risks to Host Cyber Game Lunch (CDSA)

Risk mitigation firm Convergent Risks, will host a Cyber Security Forum lunch at IBC 2018, a one-day, invitation-only event that brings together CTOs, CIOs, CISOs and security professionals within the media and broadcasting space.

The program for 2018 will focus on how to effectively manage cyber risk in broadcast and will offer insights into how to develop and implement an effective cybersecurity strategy across the entire organization, to protect business now and in the future.

Chris Johnson, CEO and president of Convergent Risks, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this event where the industry’s leading professionals will be gathering to discuss and progress the defense against cybercrime. This is a critical point in time where, post GDPR, companies are more alert to the issues facing them. There are new initiatives benefitting the sector like TPN, the Trusted Partner Network, where Convergent is able to conduct single security assessments for vendors which are then recognized by all of the industry’s principal content owners.”

IBC continues to reinforce its position as the home of technical invention, innovation and a major force in business intelligence and thought leadership. The IBC 2018 Cyber Security Forum, tailored to the needs of C-level professionals in broadcasting, media and telecoms, will focus on its responsibility to protect the consumer and organizations against cyberthreats and more.
