ZOO Digital has achieved Content Protection and Security (CPS) accreditation from the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) for its Sheffield, U.K. facility, demonstrating the highest standards in entertainment content security.
ZOO uses cutting-edge cloud technology to localize and distribute some of the most sought-after TV and movie content from Hollywood studios and premium content owners around the world. As part of its relocation to new office space, the fit-out has been designed from the ground up to meet the CPS accreditation.
ZOO has been compliant for some time with the CDSA’s Content Protection and Security program which covers all aspects of a company’s operations; including personal procedures, physical access and IT configuration. This first audit confirms its adherence to best practice and the highest standards in entertainment content security.
The goal of the CPS accreditation is to help pre- and post-production companies such as ZOO secure media assets at all stages of the supply chain. For over 45 years, the CDSA has served as the worldwide forum advocating the innovative and responsible delivery and storage of entertainment, software and information content.
Stuart Green, CEO, said: “We’re trusted to maintain security as a top priority for the biggest names in global entertainment. It’s essential that the appropriate policies and protection are in place to safeguard the content we handle. Cutting-edge technology and quality standards need to be supported by the latest security and this certification emphasises our pledge to protect our clients’ valuable entertainment content.”
Web Security Manager, Steven Franklin, who is responsible for ZOO’s security programme at its UK facility said: “With unprecedented demand for the latest entertainment, keeping content safe and secure is of the utmost importance at ZOO.
“After rigorous testing, we’re delighted to be recognised for security that is not only up to scratch but at the forefront of the industry. The CPS accreditation proves that ZOO’s standards for digital asset security, risk management, and disaster recovery meet or exceed best practice in the entertainment industry.”
ZOO Digital provides localization and digital distribution services, including subtitling, dubbing and captioning, to all major Hollywood studios, global broadcasters and online platforms from offices in Los Angeles, London and Sheffield.
