NAB 2017: Media Science International Adds Secure HLS Streaming to Server Side Forensic Watermarking Services (CDSA)

Media Science International, a leader in secure watermarked digital media delivery, anti-piracy, and business intelligence solutions adds secure HLS streaming to Its server side forensic watermarking services in its flagship application, StudioCDN. After extensive research, MSI chose to integrate Hybrik’s cloud transcoding and media workflow system into its StudioCDN solution allowing scalable watermarked deliveries of HLS streams.

“Hybrik’s cloud transcoding system allows us to rapidly respond to customer demand while fulfilling the stringent secure distribution requirements imposed by the forensic services we offer,” said Graham Oakes, CEO, Media Sciences International. “The features, performance, and cost-effectiveness of Hybrik made this an easy choice.”

The StudioCDN digital delivery system is used to deliver more than 2 million individually watermarked media assets per-month on behalf of major global content creators and distributors; the authorized, safe, secure access and usage of which are continuously tracked by MSI’s Web-Capio anti-piracy and business intelligence monitoring services.
