James S. Wise, APCP Director, Asia
James S. Wise has been Director of the CDSA Anti-Piracy and Compliance Programs for Asia and Australia since 2004. He has a unique combination of experience in manufacturing, technology, international business, and intellectual properties in the media industry.
James began his career at Philips and DuPont Optical in the United States as an engineer developing CD manufacturing processes. He later moved to Germany and worked for Steag HamaTech, responsible for media manufacturing systems delivered to customers worldwide.
The past decade James has worked in Asia focused primarily on issues related to intellectual property rights and protecting content. He has participated in many events and workshops to inform and train government officials, law enforcement agents, and legal professionals on issues related to controlling physical and digital piracy of media.
